SSL Healthcare Ltd commenced trading in April 2011. Prior to that the Directors worked under various partnerships and, as a family business, first became involved in the Care Industry in the 1980’s.
The General Manager of SSL Healthcare is Mrs. Alison Stobbs. She is responsible for the day to day operations and reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Complaints and Compliments
We have a very clear and easy to follow complaints procedure which will be on display at each Home.
They will also have a suggestion book, which is checked monthly – please feel free to make any comment. We will actively seek your views on services provided and welcome any constructive criticism, ideas and indeed praise for any aspect of care, management or service provision. If at any time you are concerned or dissatisfied with ANYTHING, however small of trivial please bring it to our attention immediately. All staff are trained in dealing with complaints – if you prefer you can talk directly to the Home Manager at any time.
SSL Healthcare Ltd operates a quality assurance system. Internal audits take place every 3 months and will continue to monitor the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, as in accordance with our quality assurance plan.
Quality standards and our audit results are discussed at every staff meeting and are an integral part of the management of the home.
You will be periodically asked to complete a resident questionnaire along with your visitors. The outcomes of these questionnaires will be made available to service users and prospective clients. The information gathered will be correlated to form the provider compliance assessment that is legally required by the Commission.
Key inspections, themed inspections, provider compliance assessment and other information gathered by the Commission are used to make a judgement about the home’s quality rating.
